Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) treats confirmed testosterone deficiency (hypogonadism), defined in AUA and Endocrine Society guidelines by two separate, early-morning low testosterone readings together with consistent symptoms.
TRT is not a lifestyle prescription. Clinicians monitor red blood cell concentration and prostate-related markers during therapy. Regulatory bodies including the US FDA have communicated cautions around fluid retention, venous thromboembolism and cardiovascular risk, particularly in older or comorbid men and when used without valid indication.
At BioBlend, compounded testosterone preparations are supplied only on prescription after documented diagnosis, with a plan for periodic review of bloods and clinical status. We do not support TRT used solely as a performance or cosmetic enhancement.
